The Transitional Care Unit at Grandview
Grandview offers an eight-bed Transitional Care Unit for short-term care and rehabilitation for diagnosis including joint replacement, CVA or cardiac rehabilitation and vestibular therapy.
The average length of stay is 7 to 10 days. The unit is staffed by professional caregivers around the clock. The unit is separate from the main facility with a private entrance, television and phone in each room, and meals are served in the unit. Therapy is also conducted in the unit, so the short-term resident need not leave the area unless they so desire.
The Grandview Transitional Unit has an excellent track record for speedy patient recovery and return to home.
